If you’re a Millennial—born between 1981 and 1996—then there’s a statistic you should care about: 35%.
Because 35% of Millennials are “religious nones.” When asked about their religious preferences, these people claim “no religion” or “nothing in particular.”
How did we get here?
A full 20 percent of Americans raised in religious households have switched into the “none” category. And much of that switching happens during the college years.
For many people losing their religion is a rite of passage. It’s part of the university experience.
But it can also mean a loss of meaning. A loss of community. A loss of connection.
If you’d rather not be a statistic…
If you’re ready to buck the trend…
If you’re looking for a way to build—rather than lose—your faith…
Then join us at Move United Church on Sundays at 10:30am in the Gateway Film Center across High St. from Main Campus.
